The weakest link in the "Obama administration" is the US Senate; the House passed most of the legislation in the platform and it corresponded mostly to the White House's wishes, then it was turned loose in the playpen on the other side of Capitol Hill and most of it turned to vapor or morphed into the weird creatures they are still trying to pass, like the healthcare bill. And with 5-8 seats going back to the Reps this fall, there is an even larger guarantee nothing important will get done. All because the Reps want to benefit from the public disgust this time so they can get back into power and.... ...not do all the stuff that they failed to do in their last stint in power. Again. And the public was so delighted with the results. Yeah, that makes LOTS of sense.
