the problem isn't the idea of the fed, per se.

the problem is that *our* fed is corrupt, by design.

if we had moral people running, it would probably work out reasonably well. we don't, they broke the penalty free law and we are sunk under an immense debt load.

the current system, where almost all money is created as interest bearing debt, in a ponzi scheme by its very nature.

it was designed this way, though, as the bankers get to asset strip the citizenry in the most efficient manner.
