KyrosL what I do not get is why the retirement age is 61, and why after a BIG effort they notched it to 63 in 2 years.

The Greek government is insane to ask for help when Germany or the US the retirement age is 67 to 69.

1. working people will contribute to Social Security another 5 years or around 15% of lifelong contribution
2. Social Security outlays will be 25% to 30% lower based on average life expectancy.

The Greeks really act very irresponsible and at the end they also bitch
