does sound like someting buffett could say. graham? ot i have a mystery that is electricity related. my meter is read about the 19th or so of every month. i was away this year from 12/25=1/15/10 yet the meter reading for january dropped less than 10%, but then the meter reading for both february and march were double normal usage. The only obvious difference that we noticed was that the forced air furnace had the fan on all the time instead on automatic.( we have gas heat and a gas water heater). would that be enough to double our normal kilo watt usage? if this is not the answer, im at a loss as to how to proceed, they already came and tested the meter and assured me its working properly.

GPOR to me looks interesting, even at these prices - though it looks like you've had shares for a while now.

In my opinion:

Pros

1) Earned $0.55 in 2009 and projected to earn ~$1 in 2010 even with sizeable hedges of oil at $55-$58.

2) Large oil sands property that some seem to think might be worth more than the market value of the company today.

3) Low Debt

4) Cash Flow coming to pay the low debt

Cons

1) Oil price could come down, hurting the 4 reasons above.

Is this your take also? Any further thoughts?

Thanks,

cw

My top 10-ish positions in no particular order: GTE, GFRE, TIP, GLW, GPOR, FR-J/K, IACAF, NRF-A/B, IDG/IGK/IND.

New positions: WAMPQ
Positions increased: GRVY, COPJF, MAIL, NRF-B, SGZH, CPBY, TXIC, UEPS
Positions reduced: CTEL, FR-J/K, VALE, MILL, GPOR
Positions eliminated: REN.

REN - results too complicated for me to value the company. Sold.
WAMPQ - I agree with Spekulatius that there is a chance for a good return depending on the final BK settlement. SpeKulative :P

Position increases are pretty much cash deployment into stocks I consider cheap. Position reductions were all also valuation based.
