the United Citizens decision

I never understood why this decision was seen as changing much. Obviously there could be increased advertising spending but how much worse is that than direct cash contributions that find there way into candidate campaign spending or into PACs that act for candidates that they like?

And it all points in one direction for powerful financial interests; get rubber stamp Republicans elected and let them know how they got elected.

This alliance has worked for years and unless the Democrats find a narrative that builds voter resistance to their "blame Democrats for all the real and concocted business woes" message, it will work again. Ed
