Mindmeld, Krugman is just spouting the party line. Very disingenuous of him to "care" about America's future by expressing sadness at the "extremists" on the other side. He could have just as easily pointed out the accounting tricks that the Dems employed to pass this health care bill. He could have pointed out that passing a huge expansion of entitlements on the heels of the worst recession in decades isn't very wise. But he's just a party hack. His Nobel Prize confirms it.
