Sad. but predictable. If one takes the long term view this may help to hasten insurance companies own demise and make the public more accepting of the public option.

PS. Anyway we slice it though we're going to have to deal with the fact that there's no free lunch anymore in health care.

I'm worried about being able to form large enough "pools" quick enough. The only way to maintain rates at reasonable levels is to have healhy bodies buying insurance at adult rates---that's were letting people stay on their parents policies until 26 bites.
