She is in private therapy but does not like AA as it is too religiously orientated for her. A week after this incident to the day I fell over one of those darn car curbs having stepped down from the regular curb. It extended from the car that was parked beside mine.. I never knew what hit me. Fell on my right temple and forehead. Split it open and blood all over. I thought I had lost my eye. Also my right shoulder took the brunt and right knee which was also split open. Ended up in the E.R. and had no fractured skull but did have a concussion. CT scan... shoulder X ray ,stitches and pain pills. I was out of it for a few days. What a mess. AND yesterday for another shocker learned that my dog of 11 years had transitional carcinoma of the bladder. Most to hope for is six months... ( No hospice for her ) unless one wants radiation,chemo and or surgery. I rejected all as she is only 4 and a half pounds ( Maltese) so I have had three traumas in a month. There is another one but not for discussion here. I got reamed out by one participant of this thread for as he put is complaining and being afraid of my own shadow.. There were some other choice accusations and I am on IGNORE but I realize I am not here to please anyone but to share. If my sharing my ordeals which I cope with at 79 then maybe it will help someone else. This guy is younger and has no idea about what age does to people. I used to swing from trees on monkey vines but no more. That I am afraid.. maybe...
