You completely miss the point. Competition and free markets drive down prices. In this country, we have de facto monopolies on broadband access. That means that our consumers pay twice as much for less than half the speeds that South Koreans gets. The only way we will drive up bandwidth speeds in this country is to change the rules to allow for more competition.

I'm surprised that you are even arguing with me over this. Out of all the things we disagree on, the one thing I thought we'd agree on was that free markets and competition lead to lower prices and higher bandwidth speeds. It's amazing to me that you are denying this simple economic axiom.
