I'll bet you would have no problem living in Oman, UAE, Jordan, Syria, or Egypt, if you had a decent job, that is. People I know who live in those countries enjoy it a lot. Oh, and Qatar as well, if you want to count that teeny place.

Elroy, didn't you have to leave the UAE because some ruler decided he wanted a new crop of expats? How comfortable is a place you can be ordered out of anytime?

Bahrain and Dubai are also good places. People love it there.
