I don't approve or disprove. It's how it is. They are still desert goat herding sheikhs, now just with more money. Let's not pretend that what little liberty they permit is for any purpose but to attract foreign workers and foreign expertise to stay long enough to build their glass towers.

When the oil runs out, they will go back to herding goats and killing each other with wanton casualness.

Saudi Arabia would have gobbled up the UAE a long time ago.

Churchill could have stopped the House of Saud's grab of Arabia in 1920. I wish he had. Then those stinking Wahhabi Clerics wouldn't be ruining Islam.
