The only reason a company is going to buy back shares is they believe they will make more money on the buyback over a period of time than they will make by investing internally. Their external investment must greatly exceed the internal rate of growth for this to make sense. Cymer is saying they can make more money by reinvesting into the company rather than buying back its stock.

Given the recent, continual price bashing of cymi I hope we are still on track for success.
