Nothing. That's just what I have long been trying to explain to you. That's exactly what I did, only I did it on the back of an envelope rather than on a computer. If you go back and read my arguments about the demographics and the Medicare rates, it's all covered. Of course, you would need a fancy simulation to come up with an actual number for the cost but the factors are so lopsided that you don't need that level of precision to make the obvious determination that the PO could not possibly be a cost saver, which was the question on the table. The back of an envelope answers the question.

You're the one who has been fussing at me for including the pool cohort in the PO. Sheesh!

But you say simulation doesn't work...that you can only learn empirically?

You must have me confused with someone else. I'm certain I never wrote anything remotely resembling that.
