Although I am not a Christian, I have a great respect for the teachings of Christ. There may be a few humans that can actually BE Christians, but I believe that "Christ died for YOUR sins" was some crap cooked up by the church bureaucracy after his death to keep the good thing going. Actually following Christ was just TOO damned hard! So, you're really just another sucker, Bruce. No different really from a Scientologist or a Mormon. Your church just has a couple of millennia, some of which it enjoyed TOTAL political control, to clean up discouraging words, damning contradictions and alternate interpretations.
