Your in the trenches Al ?

you are pretty sure of yourself.

Al.. you believe we are out of the mess ? For you to believe we avoided your so called Armageddon you must believe the bailouts succeeded. I do not as the CDS mess is still out there and banks are failing more and more.

Your new admin is floating the idea of more bailouts. So you must believe the previous ones worked... right ?

I will check out your 08 link and get back to you.

Tell me Al,

Are you OK with the 50% of the voting population not paying any taxes ?

Nobody but two treasury secretaries from two separate administrations from both sides of the aisle, one active fed chairman, another retired and an army of economists...and you...you are pretty sure of yourself.

There is no doubt that had GWB not stepped in and solved the problem the crisis would have been serious. I opposed it at the time but was wrong. GWB saved the economy, no doubt about it.

Now, what that has to do with Obama's disingenuous claims of credit for having done it, I don't know. Obama has only exacerbated an already serious problem (i.e., huge deficit spending, a national debt we can't repay, ever, and a massive expansion of entitlements that makes our government even more fiscally untenable going forward.
