JJB, OFF TOPIC. Yes I did, more than a nibble! Currently 30 percent in VARL, 35 percent in SOLP, and 35 percent cash. I work for a small database consulting company, a division of a larger IT consulting company -- ticker name CMSX. After your post on the VARL thread, being knowledgeable about IT consulting, and having free cash, I took a substantial position in SOLP. Great potential here! Not quite sure what to make of your other recommendation on INDI. Stock seems like a wild card. However I must say that I love the INDI services. Have been a subscriber to the II magazine and SSR report for several years. Recently have been frequenting the II web site. I almost executed a very profitable trade on SWRT after an II web site recommendation about two weeks ago. Saw some big volume in SWRT coming in on the ask near the market close, but didn't want to "chase" as the stock almost immediately ran up six percent. SWRT proceeded to go up 25 more percent over the next two days on exceptional earnings. Oh well! Thinking that INDI is worth monitoring closely for increased volume on the ask. Still very bullish on domestic PCS. Saw the CEO of Tandy on CNBC couple of days ago. He mentioned that cellular sales are way up. Tandy is in some kind of partnership selling Sprint PCS services. I wish I knew what percentage of components are provided by VARL. I think VARL provides the higher performance components, and MRM is the lower price commodity component producer. Still think that VARL is by far the superior company for longer term. Should we hedge the short term bet and go with both? What do you think? Much thanks for alerting me to the exceptional opportunity in SOLP. Greg.
