Nice rant but a little one sided. "However, it leapt beyond the normal dirt when they started to spew first fear … then lies …." The left wing has not been above namecalling or degenerating into ad hominim attacks. It’s fairly predictable that anyone challenging a left wing idea will be called a bigot, fascist, nazi or something. In fact, as soon as either term, 'right wing' or 'left wing,' is thrown out the degenerative consequences are predictable. And irony is not a stranger to either extreme... Like the non-religious extremists are apt to say things like "I just hate religious people because they are so stupid and judgemental." lol Fear? Didn’t Al Gore get a Nobel prize for saying we are going to be under water soon? "It is the cynical 'entertainers'..." You left out: Moore, Olbermmann, Maher, Franken, etc I actually like Maher even when he’s tumbling over the edge a bit. And here is a quote from Franken that I like.
