Don,

You are absolutely right! I am a former developer as well and this IS the way to do it. Sounds like they've covered their bases pretty well with this arrangement. Thanks for the info. Can we assume the deal works in a similar fashion with their other partners? Did Scott say?

Don,

Expect press release tomorrow on Wonderware CD bundling and more. "....there isn't enough time for manufacturers... there are barriers to entry for TPRO competitors.... TPRO is a little late, but they are the only ones.... they (customers) will be beating down the doors for the CD"

Remember Karl's point, the real money comes from the resultant database, which customers will pay TPRO to assemble. They, TPRO, should have the largest industrial database anywhere when the dust settles.

It's not enough to have the factory compliant. All vendors, wholesalers, distributors, jobbers, retailers, etc. have to be also, or the wheels fall off. A lot of companies won't make it. It's already too late to save everyone. Prices will skyrocket as we get close to midnight. How much is organizational survival worth?

Best to all,

Roger

Don--What do you see for immediate revenues to the company,I'm getting mixed up on the "free for 60 day part". Are you talking about the 20,000 customer base of Wonderware that might opt to pay 9,000? Sorry if I'm asking confusing questions. Jan
