I don't think so, Lane. The GOP had no compunction on starting two wars without paying for either. I have no doubt they will have no problem in starting another war against Iran also without paying for it. And don't get me wrong, I think we cannot allow Iran to get a nuclear bomb, but I think there are plenty of things we can do, including giving Israel the green light, without us getting involved.

In fact, after all we have done for Israel, we should get them to do the dirty work with Iran if the need arises. They owe us for the $8 billion a year we pump into their ungrateful little country.

But back to the topic at hand, don't underestimate the GOP willingness to spend money on foreign adventures in the pursuit of their oil ambitions.
