The well known financial newsletter writer (and former SI poster) Jim Willie CB emailed me some comments on the Goldman Sachs situation: <<...the bigger question is "DID GSAX SHORT THEIR STOCK TO PROFIT FROM THIS?" did they receive a week's notice by SEC commissioners, their friends ? did they have ample time to prepare stock option puts in place ? I think YES we might have a war going on inside the USGovt against GSax...hard to tell most people think the USGOvt is united but every single agency and ministry is deeply divided I hear divisions between Loyalists to syndicate VERSUS Constitutional patriots...>>
