I always thought the Rs were the epitome of logic and facts. It turns out they are just the opposite.

The fact that you don't understand their logic, is proof that their logic is sound.

That was Buckley's influence. He was responsible for driving the loons out of the GOP. Unfortunately, that changed during the 1980s when the loons were invited back in. They now control the party.
