4/23/10 Update If Samuel Beckett were alive today would he be penning the play "Waiting for Correction"? The Nasdaq Composite Index had another plus week and at Friday's closing bell was up 11.50% YTD (vs. up 9.35% YTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Biotech Index closed up 11.31% YTD (vs. up 12.89% YTD a week ago) and the Contest median closed up 17.77% YTD (vs. up 17.78% YTD a week ago). Beamed up by arrays of Novartis cash, GHMM's portfolio (up 52.30% YTD) flew by RKRW's portfolio (up 50.23%% YTD) to take first place. Climbing fast, in third place, is JACKH's portfolio (up 47.71% YTD). At Friday's close, 29 of the 32 Contest portfolios continue in the black with an amazing 26 of the 32 topping the NBI. Biotechies, we are hot this year! Like my own portfolio is up 12.79% YTD and I've only made it to 24th place. Below is the Top Ten list.
