The last time either party dealt with that was 1983.

Wrong...Clinton increased the ceiling of taxed income to $85K in 1993...and sen Bunning (R Kentucky) introduced a bill to repeal it.

Do you see it on the agenda even now?

R's have made increasing taxes politically impossible...Look what they did to the health care bill just passed...look what they are still doing today with that topic...their entire political platform is based on cutting taxes. That message is as seductive as it is incomplete and politically expedient.
