Nonsense. Not true. To date, it has not happened.......that the payout is greater than the revenues it takes in. It may happen this year because of the Great Recession. If it doesn't, it is expected to happen by 2016.

Why it is happening now is totally beside the point to any rational person (that leaves you out).

That a system as critical as SS could be caught without adequate reserves to meet its obligations is a testament to just how incompetent our government is to run such programs and hard core evidence that government should NEVER, EVER be trusted with such programs again.

But then, you'll always have liberal whackjobs who are willing to stop at nothing -- including unconstitutional actions -- to get the next piece of the puzzle enacted.
