To be honest, in large cap stocks I haven't been able to think of many "ideas" that haven't been figured out by someone else. Maybe because it is because of the fact I don't claim to be a big picture macro-trends guy like Bill Miller.

I have had several situations in microcap stocks where I did have an understanding that wasn't reflected accurately in the market, and I made a ton of money. There have been a couple where there was something I was missing and I took my lumps, but overall the endeavor has been very successful.

I don't feel like I have any competitive advantage in large cap stocks. I own some now because I think at the moment they are a better deal than smallcaps and microcaps, but I don't pretend that my largecap picks will do any better than the overall market.
