INterestingly... SCIENCE consistantly heaps awards on those that shine light of truth on "the current (faulty) science".... although certainly there is plenty of pressure to "go along" with the party line in the short term.... course, no "burning at the stake" or any of that.... OH I FORGOT, that never happened! LOL This has been discussed like a zillion times here. <fear is a natural reaction to both death and the possibility of facing an all-powerful divine being. > Ummm, for you maybe. How can infinite compassion and love evoke fear... course, I DO see it in you wackos all the time, so I dont' doubt that YOU feel that. That's probably why you get so angry all the time. <I think he's talking about the idea of God PERIOD, not simply one conception of God: <<"We must question the story logic of having an all-knowing all-powerful God, who creates faulty Humans, and then blames them for his own mistakes." - Gene Roddenberry>> Well, that's YOUR interpretation... maybe YOUR god does what he's stating. He's CLEARLY pointing to a god that "blames them for their own mistakes".... Now that IS a version of God some of you wacko's believe in... a nasty vindicitve God... I guess we can throw YOU into that group as well. My God blames no one... only forgives and loves. Therefore, in MY view he's pointing DIRECTLY at a specific attribute some (wacko's) pin on "God" and showing how faulty it is... GOOD FOR RODENBERRY!! I'm atheist towards that god too. DAK
