These do not seem to me to be characteristics of one who needs government assistance. My first reaction when I hear about the struggles of families of four is always "so where did the other two mouths to feed come from?". I recognize that sometimes lightning strikes folks who have been prudent in their lifestyles and some generous folks provide homes for orphans but, by and large, if you can't raise a family of four on $50K, then what are you doing with a family of four? One and even two can manage just fine on that. Four, not so much. OTOH, if they're giving it away, you'd be a fool to not take it. You can use your iPad to keep track of your Medicaid Medical records.
