After learning my 10 year old will be forced to watch Al Gore's movie again tomorrow in public school, I elected to give her the day off instead of deal with the idiotic teachers union thugs any longer.

The religion of Global Warming environmental extremist nuts is a never ending travesty to the intellectual health of America.

I'll spend the day with my daughter explaining the virtues of free market capitalism and what it's accomplished to improve the human condition and environment of America.

That's a true "Earth Day".

The Whole Earth Catalog was instrumental in founding the early ecology movement, the first issue appeared in 1968. Luminaries such as Buckminster Fuller and John Perry Barlow contributed ideas, nuclear power was one of their favorite hobby horses. Looking back you have to wonder - how did it go so wrong??
