Tim Pawlenty has made a major blunder in reforming the State charity health care system. Basically he said to a handful of hospitals in the state, we can't afford it, you pay for it and take care of it. The hospitals said, uh, no thank you. twincities.com This is a politician trying to have his cake and eat it too. Wants to look compassionate helping the poor at the same time slashing the budget for it by 90%. Why he thought private hospitals would or could voluntarily shoulder this burden alone is beyond me.
