The beauty of state power is that when states choose to be racists, the Feds can kick their ignorant butts. However, though this law is racist in every way, something is needed to stop the cross-border violence in Arizona. If the thinking people of the country can't come up with a way to do that, then the ignorant will turn to racism every time. I think there are a myriad of ways to accomplish that end, but, so far, no will to do so. Maybe passing this Jim Crow law will shake the thinking people into thinking about it.
