One of the things that I always try to get across in my posts is a sense of humility. I often don't know what I am talking about. ;-) I will readily admit that my interpretation of Jacob's plan to short FSLR may end up costing Jacob or anyone else who implements it money. Shorting stocks in a bull market is far from risk free but I can see where he is coming from because he has laid his plan out in an easily understandable fashion> Even for me. One of the best things about this thread is its collaborative nature. I've learned a lot from most of its participants through our discussions."Name the single biggest company whose already made the move to capture Solar revenue by restructuring operations to enable its place at the table of ignoble largesse?" Your question is a little vague. There is a lot of restructuring going on but I will hazard a guess that you are referring to AMAT as it is the single biggest company we discuss here on a market cap basis trying to make money with solar related products:Applied Materials is the world’s #1 supplier of PV manufacturing equipment, offering systems for both thin film and crystalline silicon solar products. Our primary goal is to help solar manufacturers drive down cost per watt in order to rapidly grow the solar industry and make solar electric power increasingly affordable for everyone, everywhere. appliedmaterials.com WFR, another company we discuss, has been doing more than a little reorganizing. But I will be 100% honest. There is a lot I don't know about these companies. Much more than I know. I don't need to know much other than how to trade a stock. I'm not interested in marrying one of these companies based on what they do, or what they reorganize to do in the future. I want to make some money. Be that long or short. I don't really care much about what a company does. I care more about market trends, volume of trading, sentiment and cyclical forces on the stock market as a whole. What I don't want is to have people blindly follow any investment information I might share as if I just wrote something that might be predictive in value to such an extent that it might be capable of actually having real value in doing just that. I want anyone who reads one of my posts, looks at one of my charts, to make up their own mind, about what to do and when to do it. And this is a good place to do just that. This thread is full of independent thinkers who are almost always up for a good discussion along those lines. RtS
