Some truth to this. Most A students never get practical experience. They run things from the gitgo without ever learning how things really work. The world would be much better if we demanded that all students work the same apprentice jobs for four or more years before getting the high salary jobs.

Ted, I agree with you on this. WTF is wrong with 'A' students? Sure, it's no replacement for wisdom that has been acquired via real-world experience, but if you don't like the status quo, then it's better to trust someone who did better in college vs. someone who just slacked off and partied his way to a 'C'.

By the way, I hear Al Gore was also a 'C' student. And that's saying something, since Harvard rarely gives out C's.
