If Dodd or anyone was serious about financial reform, reinstatement of Glass-Steagall would be the opening paragraph. I haven't heard anyone that matters talking about bringing it back. As far as GOP proposals, I really don't think that any significant GOP proposals would see the light of day considering the shutout that was thrown at them in the last ball game re: healthcare.
