Blankfein accepts responsibility for his firm's role in the financial crisis.

How can he accept a role that his firm did not have?

Anyone catch Mr Blankfein heap all that love on Obama and this bill midway through his testimony. I listened to most of it on my drive home and thought that was quite odd given the seriousness of it all. Sort of confirmed to me this a big dog and pony show for public consumption with no real purpose behind it.

Goldman knows they will be benefIting from the WS bill plus their 10% stake in CCX that stands to rake in triilions. So they take one for the team to advance their interests and DM looks like the hero for standing up against those greedy evil bankers.
