Thanks, GZ.

Asian markets getting hammered tonight so the US should rally tomorrow. Or not. vbg

I don't know why I follow short term gyrations as I play the macro/fundamental game. In this case, like watching a train wreck, IMO.

My model, i.e., intuition mostly, says things either tank or go sideways for a very long time. If you can pick stocks, you should do OK. I can do it, more or less, but don't have the time anymore.

Earlier you mentioned you also use 2 timing models. I assume that this is in addition to a price model and that the 3 makeup "the system". I also assume that you mentally integrated the time component from the first time model with the direction of the price you got something of a mental sell signal in advance of the "official" signal.
But you mentioned something I'm not sure I understand and that is time model 1 called today as the last possible day for this rally to run and time model 2 gave it another 9 days. Was that written in stone and could something have occurred to alter the projection of either and if so, what?
If I am asking too many questions, just say so and please don't worry about hurt feelings. If I had your system I'd probably be far less generous in discussing it than you have been.
P.S. Have you ever tried applying its principles to individual stocks and if so, did it work

GZ,

When the spiral confirms a sell signal you generally identify potential (lower) levels where buying might again commence. It is my understanding that these levels should not be interpreted as the levels at which the next buy signal will be triggered. I'm curious ..... when today's sell signal was confirmed, does the model simultaneously identify the higher targets and/or dates at which a future "buy signal" will be confirmed? Or does the market need to digest a day or two of activity (or more) in order to identify levels and dates that will confirm the next confirmed "buy" signal?

TIA

Pat
