Heard anything about that newsletter mention or was it BS?

The Special Situation in Mining newsletter comes out November 7, (tomorrow).
It goes out to brokers, institutions and other investors.

Could this be the one?

I got the following via a link to "The Stockhouse" from the unofficial BCMD website.
The creator OF that website posted it. One of the baron's previous posts was my source for the info inre JV partners and the accompanying dollar figures.
He/she seems to have gotten a bit miffed by our use of the word "Scuttlebutt".

I certainly didn't mean to offend, but since it was second hand info to me, I preferred to label it Scuttlebutt.

Here's what was posted. Call it what you may. I will still call it a rumor until I hear some confirmation. If anyone contacts Lionel, perhaps they could ask about this.

I thought the baron's comments about "unsubstantiated rumor" was interesting. C'mon Dave (the baron), I guess I'm supposed to take it as fact because YOU said so? You're overreacting.
Scuttlebutt is not an evil word. It's the proper term for uncertain info being passed along in this fashion.

Also interesting were the newsletter comments considering that the Baron posted the newsletter on the unofficial website.

Here it is:
----------------------------snip--------------->
I just read the SI thread. Seems like my info is now considered scuttlebutt info.

It was regarding my figures concerning 14-15 million that BCMD is looking for from a JV partner.

Just because thats the amount BCMD is looking for doesn't mean they will get it. So I think this is a non-news/non-insider info. It also doesn't define what sort of deal BCMD is willing to accept if they get
this figure. And there was no ETA on this "deal" should it occur.

BCMD could have told me that they were looking for 200 million for all intensive purposes. Heck, I'M looking for 14-15 million. Heh Heh.

By the way, I heard this first heard the 14 million figure yesterday from some "guy" on #BCMD. Since I dont like unsubstantiated rumor, I wanted to verify it. 14-15 million is what I was told BCMD was looking
for (meaning this is the second time I've heard this figure -once from rumor, once in my own ears.)

I don't hype stocks. My web site is not based on hype for that soul purpose. I hate unsubstantiated hype myself.
So always verify things you read, or ignore them.

When I read that BCMD is going to be released as a buy on a newsletter on SI and then find out that BCMD is actually being put out on a newsletter service...thats a totally different story.

I would think any stock could "hire" a newsletter service to seek potential newsletters.

Well thats it. Feel free to forward this to the SI thread otherwise I'll watch from the sidelines.
