In his defence though he has initiated the design and production of cars which would require less gas. Yesterday, First Solar reported increase in their business of solar cells, there are the "appliance for clunkers" program that his Administration has put into effect etc. etc. However, it would take at 10 to 15 years to establish a energy infrastructure based primarily on green technology. This is well beyond his two-terms.
