Thanks. Would it be caused by the age of the rig? What would cause a pressure increase?

I did see that the SWAT teams were going to inspect all rigs in the area....Is that right? Do they go down to the ocean floor? Or what?

Do you know if the US has any oil rigs/wells in the Gulf coast, or if they are all owned by foreign countries...

The administration rejected suggestions that the federal government was slow to act in dealing with the spill and expressed frustration with BP's inability to seal the ruptured well head

I heard some Canadian yesterday on Fox who is the leading expert on well fires saying A: Air pollution is much better then water pollution and they never should have put the fire out until they could stop the flow of oil. B: They sunk the rig themselves with their firefighting efforts.

He really thought this thing was poorly responded to. Since he put out most of the fires in Kuwait I have to think he knew of which he spoke.
