><> Wisdom from above ><>

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy.

Thanks brother for this post -- for that is what it is

You have solidified your right to be the resident theologian. A fine and well-thought out answer. And an obvious one when it comes to quoting Jesus' words "It is written"
It seems that many stumble over Jesus being God.
I well remember the time I had a salvation Bible study with a person that was into some mideastern transcendental meditation stuff. When I was able to show her that Jesus was God in the flesh, it about knocked her socks off, and the Holy Spirit was faithful---she prayed to receive Jesus into her life!
No doubt about it. Jesus is God. The Father is God. The Holy Spirit is God. Period. You've undoubtedly seen the triangle with the Father on one corner, the Holy Spirit on another and Jesus on the other. In the triangle's center is written God, with the arrows pointing to the middle, but when it came to the arrows pointing to each of the others, you would show Jesus is not the Father, the Father is not Jesus, Jesus is not the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is not Jesus, the Father is not the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is not the Father, I'll try and draw it, but haven't had any luck with this kind of thing, but here goes---
Arrows to one another Father
will say "is not" /arrows to the center / from Father, Son, and /GOD Holy Spirit will say Son /______\ Holy Spirit
"is"

Have a sensational day.

Jack

A Very Goodevening to you Shalom,

No I am not on the West Coast. East. Virginia as a matter of fact.
Very good. I expected that you would deluge me in scripture. I could and
probably argue the point of Jesus using scripture to defend himself from
the temptations of Satan but I won't. You have already made it very clear
that Jesus is not God but just Jesus. A seperate entity.

I have no problem quoting scripture but when one asks a person what their
beleifs or what they are willing to do if they had to give up their life, is
not the same thing. Like I said. If you can answer that then we can move to
the next level of decussion. I like to know who I'm talking to.

I asked you a reasonable question and I don't beleive I saw an answer.
The original question was would you die and give up all you have for God,
Jesus, and the Word. I see that everyone else said YES. I see no/nothing here
that even implies that you would. All I see is scripture. But then there are
alot of scholars that do that. If you can't answer in your own words that you
would die for the cause then I guess you are just a scholar, a pharasse, a ????
those folks that Jesus chastised.

The belief of God and Jesus is not a football game in which we use the phylosophy
that a good defense is a good offensense.

You can run all the scripture past me you want but you still haven't answered
the question. Now you know why folks get attitudes about so call Christians.
There is no such thing as a true Chistian. A Christian is a man made term to
define a persons beleif.

I'm a true fundamentalist. I follow no mans beleifs but only the word of God.
The interpretations are now in flux. I look to you to determine and prove what
I am implying is right or wrong. Nothing more nothing less. Can you do that?

I will wait for your reply,

R
