Did they extend the first time home buyer credit that expires April 30 (today)? If they don't I don't think we'll have to wait until August-Sept for it to play out unless you're talking about the drop off coming this summer. On second thought that's probably what you are talking about.

be careful of homeowners dues. if others aren't paying, you will have to cover for them. homeowners of $600+ a month add up quickly.

i'd rent before buying and wait a bit for this collapse to play out.
