Ah, yes, besides what is used by the boats to go and get them, there is the transport, even to the cities like B'ham that serve up gulf catches, got to drive them up here, and keep them cold on the way. not to mention what it takes to fly the catch around the country.

As to tourists: a fast train from NY to Florida, so's folks can visit Disneyworld and Key West. a train from Dallas to the Gulf Coast there. and one from B'ham to the coast in Alabama. A decent electrical car system to ride people along the coast, not like it is that big overall. I've actually never been to the gulf coast here, even though it is 6 hour drive away. if I could park in B'ham and hop a train... I might just do it. I live in Alabama, but have no idea what our coast looks like.
