RE: Buz at Comdex

Joel,

You can be sure that there'll be working Buz units
at Comdex. Iomega had them at PC Expo in NYC last
June. The problem with the delay isn't that they
couldn't get the basic unit to work, it was that
they didn't have the installation down for all the
bazillions of configurations of PCs out there. You
can bet the farm that they have them working just
fine on their own equipment, though, and that they'll
be showing that to everyone at Comdex.

Do you really think that a cautious, conservative
CEO like KE would let PC Connection run a full-page
ad for a product that they still didn't have working
models for? No way. This product is beyond the
development stage and is in the final stages of
innovation (i.e., introduction into the marketplace
in production quantities). Mind you, those final
stages are sometimes a lot of work and very time-
consuming, but they won't get in the way of the
Comdex demos.

Cheers, Tom (long IOM)
