There is a good possibility that why ASND will make its number this quarter and I wonder why it has not been mentioned.

Midway into last quarter ASND mgmt realized the quarter is bad and they did an SEC filing. Since they knew the quarter is going to bad they probably postponed significant booking into this quarter, a practice that is quite common in the industry.

This could explain why the same mgmt is quite confident about making its number this quarter this early in the quarter, knowing significant revenue has been shifted.

And the CSCC merger is probably getting completed in terms of getting rid of overlapping resources, thus a better grip in the cost side.

When will this quarter's number be announced? I hope the January effect will help too.

I found the article and it was from the San Francisco Chronicle business section dated 11/03/97; the percentages are for the percent of revenues received from Asia-Pacific Rim for the 100 largest companies in the Bay Area (San Francisco - Silicon Valley) here are the correct figures:
