Well, the alpha is a better performing chip. Who cares. The fact that the MediaGX is positioned as a pentium equivalent when it is a 486 is duping the customer.

The big difference between MediaGX (other than performance) is that MediaGX can run all x86 programs and costs less than $100.
As far as positioning MediaGX, You are the only one who is doing it. The features and perfomance speak for themselves.
Actually, Intel would be glad if Pentium classic was in the same class as MediaGX. In reality, it lacks many features, such as integrated audio, video, PCI controller, memory controller as well as support for optional L2 cache

So enough on this.
