In that case, Spekulatius, I'll be watching your "buys" and "sells" of stocks to see what you do should BDX go below $70 !! {:-)

I tend to use a projection of a company’s recent EPS performance coupled with its fairly recent P/E history, on the understanding that, all things being equal, the company’s near term future should be more or less in line with its recent past performance.

Of course, I’ve not always been correct.
As the saying goes, “There’s many a slip between cup and lip” !!

As an aside, I came up with BDX from one of my stock screens. And more or less at the same time I came across an article that said Buffett had increased his stake in Beckton Dickson by 1.2 million shares.
Needless to say, that increased my interest in the company !!

IMO, anyone interested in banking and financial stocks should take careful note of your observations and analysis of that sector of the Market.
