"real assets"....I understand that includes gold, but what other assets fall within this category? Real estate? Art? Antiques? Barrels of oil? Roto-tillers and a flock of sheep?

My "angle" is in line with what I heard yesterday on CNBC from Robert Precther :

investor sentiment on gold is currently 98% bullish.

Precther then went through a whole "laundry list" of assets / asset classes that were recently either 98% bullish or 98% bearish.

In each case, "everyone" was wrong (as usual.)
