Isn't the 98% number a pretty good fit for Prechter, overall, though? I don't remember seeing many examples of that guy ever getting things right on these markets since the 80's.

Re: Prechter and 98% bullish sentiment on gold, I know 2 people that own ANY gold at all, but lots of people that hold their stocks because stocks are the best investment over the long term (or whatever variation of that theme they're fed). Talking to people about gold is still largely the equivalent of talking about Area 51. <G?>

Where does Prechter get his 98% bullish analysis, and on what is it based? The biggest noise the public hears about gold is in the ads encouraging people to sell their scrap at 60% of value. Has he said what the basis of his statistic is?
