too many apologies these days. I am not expecting apologies. I am expecting some sign that these guys are interested in doing the job to the best of their ability. NO SIGN of that imho except from the guy on the containment job. The containment job is a side issue here. Not interested in that. That is just a deflection away from the issues at hand. Try to mix in the government agencies as being part of the problem is very weak argument for doing a substandard job as well. Did BP do their best to ensure safe practice? Getting the lower echelons disciplined or fired for not wearing their safety specs but then using the 'ol buddy program to blow away important aspects of safe operation is not doing your best imho. I'm not inferring what happened, I just read the newspapers. Sorry, not impressed with what has been revealed so far. I am not talking about what happened AFTER the accident. It's what happened (or didn't happen) BEFORE the accident that is the important bit. I can't imagine this looks good either. Not blowout but blowback may occur. Message 26529305
