We have a system founded on a few core principles, which will survive as long as the laws and the processes designed to hold that system up are honored; and, as long as the wisdom of sincere and decent people wins the day. Taking drastic and dishonorable measures in the mean time is not justified. What will you have gained when you win a battle, only to find that you've become the very thing you believe is worth fighting against. Who will be left to carry the standard.

Patience and fortitude is called for when the integrity of the system is being tested by miscreants and their corrupt leaders. When the process fails and all hope is lost, as it was around July 4, 1776, then drastic measures may be called for. In the mean time, elections do have consequences and sometimes those consequences are a wake up call for people to back a different type of candidate or law in the future.

But if you don't fight this tendency toward the Left, you are going to end up with a Court that is extreme and not meeting the needs of the country. As Jallen says, "Elections have consequences", and the consequence of electing an extremist is that we're a heartbeat away from an extreme Supreme Court which, IMO, the country can ill-afford.

Its is the extreme right that has brought this country to its knees and you dare to suggest that going left might be a problem. Do you have a brain that allows you to think independently, o wise one?

Suppose one of The Five died tomorrow

We can only hope. My fav to go would be Scalea [sic]/
