You are wrong in most cases Binky, when you go about bashing people from your pulpit on this thread. It's a chronic condition, which you rarely bother to retract in spite of overwhelming evidence. Why are you making an exception in this case? <rhetorical>

Wrong again, Ted.

The NYTimes article includes a video clip, where you can clearly hear Blumenthal claim that he served in Vietnam:

"We have learned something important since the days that I served in Vietnam."

Big difference between that and "served in the military during the Vietnam era." Just ask George W. Bush, who also "served in the military during the Vietnam era."
